The awareness campaign regarding waste recycling, intended for secondary school and primary school students

 

ACTIVITIES OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM​

A. ACTIVITIES USING WEB 2.0 TOOLS
Educational communication sessions: 
Making short and interesting presentations about recycling. The use of images and infographics to explain how plastic is recycled, what are the steps in the process and what happens to the recycled materials. 

 

Educational videos: 
Designing short but engaging videos that show the effects of plastic pollution and how every little action matters. They can be viewed during civic education classes or during extracurricular activities.

B. PRACTICAL ACTIVITIES:
Organizing activities in which the students actively participate in the collection of plastic, learn how to sort it and recycle it.
Recycling "during the school break": 
Creating a special place in the school where students can lick recyclable materials, such as plastic bottles or aluminum cans, paper, which can be collected at the end of the day.

 

C . CREATIVITY CONTEST
Primary school students were invited to make posters, drawings or even models from recycled materials, thus promoting the message of recycling.

 

D. EXPECTED RESULTS: educational materials and resources_for dissemination
Brochures: Distribution of brochures for correct recycling a plastic and other materials. These may include information about local recycling centers and how to reduce plastic consumption.

 

E. PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES:
The creation of a partnership with the recycling company "SC MRV SRL “ to provide additional facilities and resources in the school.

 

F. CAMPAIGN IMPACT EVALUATION:
At the start of the campaign, an evaluation was carried out through a questionnaire to measure the students' acquisitions of recycling and the application of these practices in everyday life.

 

CONCLUSION:
The campaign of awareness regarding recycling is dynamic and interactive, offering students both useful information and activities that capture their interest. Through their active involvement, the campaign contributes to the formation of a responsible behavior towards the environment, which will last in the long run.
